Terms of Use

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Mosiac Health, run by Matthew Legault in Calgary, Alberta (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them with our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use the app

You must be 18 or older, and you must give accurate information about yourself. Your account is for you alone: keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

2. The app is not medical care

Mosiac Health gives general information and exercise suggestions. It doesn’t examine you, diagnose you or treat you, and it doesn’t replace a physiotherapist, doctor or other professional.

The assistant’s replies are written by artificial intelligence (Anthropic’s Claude). They can be wrong or incomplete, so use your own judgement and ask a professional when you’re unsure.

In an emergency, call 911. If you’re in crisis or thinking of harming yourself, call or text 988. For health advice in Alberta, call Health Link at 811.

3. Exercises

Exercise carries some risk. Do the exercises within your ability, stop if anything causes sharp or worsening pain, and get a professional’s advice before starting if you have an injury or a health condition, or if you’re unsure an exercise is right for you. Demonstration clips show the general movement; your own needs may differ.

4. Booking appointments

5. Using the app fairly

Don’t misuse the app: no attempts to break into it or other people’s accounts, no automated access or scraping, no false bookings, and nothing unlawful, abusive or harmful. We may suspend or close an account that does these things.

6. Our content

The app, its text, exercises and design belong to Mosiac Health or are used with permission. Some demonstration clips are licensed stock footage, credited where they appear. You may use the app for your own personal health; please don’t copy or resell its content.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running and accurate, but it’s provided as it is and as available, and we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we change these terms in a significant way, we’ll tell you in the app; continuing to use it after that means you accept the new terms.

8. Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Mosiac Health isn’t responsible for injury, loss or damage that results from relying on information in the app, from doing exercises, or from care provided by a clinic, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you’ve paid us, if any, in the past 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete my account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
